For me, artistic creation follows two paths. One path is to present myself through art, expressed visually; the other is to present myself through the line of life itself. These two paths run parallel, with channels and points of intersection between them, where, ultimately, a transformation of energy will occur at certain points.
To present oneself in art means transforming an ever-maturing and self-transcending thought into a visual language or directly using various media to express these ideas.
To present oneself in life means, through various life practices, opening all perception and awareness systems, expanding the space of life, and simultaneously broadening one’s thinking, exploring unknown possibilities of humanity.
In previous creative practices, art took the lead, with constant experimentation and breakthroughs in artistic language. Now, however, if life’s awareness precedes the space for artistic practice, allowing life’s consciousness to enter an unknown realm of possibility and uncover mysteries of the future, and then translating that into a visual form—this would be utterly magnificent.
